Bio

Born 1983 in Nuremburg, Germany (considered a US citizen born abroad) Samantha was a military brat and moved around most of her childhood and into her teenage years. Fantasy, fairy tale and mythology have always been a major inspiration for her artwork, which she has been drawing since a young child. At the age of 10 she decided to become an artist, though the actual desired job position has changed over time as she grew and better understood herself as an artist and person. Emoting feelings and passion in pieces, telling a story and making the audience connect with the characters are what move her and push her to become a better artist.

Samantha has a BA in Art, area of emphasis in Illustration. Currently
she lives with her husband, Joe, cockatiel Mozart, German Shepard Sasha and three parakeets (Jade, Cloud and Skylark Speckles (Sky)) in Kansas City, KS. In her free time she enjoys Sims 2, reading, exercising, contemplating her dream house/art studio, and playing Guild Wars or Rise of Nations with her husband.
